This is my 2nd official card from Stuttgart. On this one there's the Schlossplatz, the largest square in the centre of the city of Stuttgart and home to the New Castle which was built between 1746 and 1807, in late Baroque style.
The castle was almost completely destroyed by Allied bombing during the Second World War and was reconstructed between 1958 and 1964. During this time most of the inside of the castle was also restored and the building was used by the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament. Today it is used by the State Ministries of Finance and Education. - in: wikipedia

Landsberg am Lech is a town in southwest Bavaria.
The town is noted for its prison where Adolf Hitler was incarcerated in 1924. During this incarceration Hitler wrote/dictated his book Mein Kampf together with Rudolf Hess.
Landsberg am Lech was also known as the town of the Hitler youth. Following World War II it was the location for one of the largest Displaced Person (DP) camps for Jewish refugees and the place of execution for more than 150 war criminals after 1945. - in: wikipedia

Göttingen is a university town in Lower Saxony.
Nearly untouched by Allied bombing in World War II, the inner city of Göttingen is now an attractive place to live with many shops, cafes and bars.
The building on the card is the Old Town Hall, located in the town’s market place. It stands out against the other less imposing houses and timber buildings on the square. The town hall was built in stages from 1270 and served as the city administration centre until 1978. The current structure was largely built in the 14th-15th centuries. It is built of sandstone and wouldn’t look out of place in an Italian town. - in: http://www.agermanyattraction.com/germany-attractions-eh/old-town-hall-gottingen.htm

Kronach is a town in Oberfranken, Bavaria. Kronach is the birthtown of Lucas Cranach the Elder, a German Renaissance painter and printmaker in woodcut and engraving.
The town is equipped with a nearly complete city-wall and Germany's biggest medieval fortress (Festung Rosenberg). - in: wikipedia
